UNFORGETTABLE     Last year’s passing of artist-impresario Nadia Trinkala is still deeply felt in the local arts community. Beginning Friday night (May 25) at Troy Night Out, the Fulton Street Gallery (408 Fulton St., Troy) is hosting a Silent Auction and Art Sale Benefit in Remembrance of Nadia “Trink” Trinkala.

Here’s the message from the organizers: “We hope you can join us, once again, to celebrate Nadia who brought out the best in everyone around her and inspired us all in countless ways.” The silent auction will include “work created by artists and friends for Nadia’s Celebration of Life service last April.”

“Each piece is a work of art, created on the back of one of Nadia’s beloved wallpapers, that when hung together created a banner reading ‘Blessings Nadia, Our Eternal Butterfly.’ ”

The auction will begin at 5 PM Friday for Troy Night Out, and bidding will close June 10 at 3:30 PM during a closing reception. The auction will benefit the Goldie Hawn MindUP Foundation (which advocates for “social and emotional learning”) and FSG. For questions about the auction and sale, call Jennifer Berkun at 541-2007, Misty Lemay at 953-6610 or Raymond Felix at 331-0217.
