Our good pals at General Electric are again sponsoring Kids Day at the Empire State Plaza. Headlining will be popular greeting-card mainstays and children’s favorites the Care Bears. The CBs have just returned to TV, and will offer a special performance complete with a meet-and-greet after their show. In addition, there will be numerous activities all afternoon such as pony rides, face painting, and arts and crafts. And there will be plenty of food vendors, too. So, if you’re out and about wondering about a good activity for you to bring your kids, this is for you.
The festival will be held rain or shine on Sunday (July 8) starting at noon and lasting until 5 PM at the Empire State Plaza (Albany). Admission is free, and in the event it should rain, the festival will be moved inside. For more information, call 474-3899.
