The Grand Slambovians

by Metroland Staff on October 11, 2012

The Grand Slambovians are a Hudson Valley-based band who emerged from the misty hills of Sleepy Hollow. Since their creation in 1998, as Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams, the four-piece have unfolded soft-loud landscapes overflowing with pensive earnestness. Performing an extensive and dynamic repertoire of music with cover tunes that span several decades of classic rock & roll, the band are sometimes described as “Hillbilly Pink Floyd.” These guys are an Eighth Step favorite and always pack a gunny sack full of surprises.
