This is a damn good week to go check out a local band and pick up one of their freshly minted new records. Tonight (Thursday) at Putnam Den, Sun Burdens will share the stage with Walking X-Ray, who just finished their debut Password EP (9 PM, free, 584-8066). . . . Otomorrow (Friday), the Arch Stanton Quartet will unveil their new record Along for the Ride at More Bread and Jam (7 PM, 874-4272) . . . Moroccan-infused electro-jazz group Club d’Elf return to Club Helsinki on Friday with John Medeski in tow (9 PM, $18, 828-4800). . . .
