Although they are the self-proclaimed “greatest rock & roll band in the world,” cowpunk, garage punk, grunge, Southern rock, and country are all categories that describe the sound of Supersuckers. After signing with Seattle’s Sub Pop records in the early ’90s, the group had a fairly successful foray into the country spotlight with their 1997 album Must’ve Been High and went on to perform and collaborate with a slew of eccentric names. Today, Supersuckers exist under their own label, Mid-Fi, with Metal” and “Thunder” on guitars, “Chango” on drums and of course Eddie Spaghetti fronting the band.
