Juelz Santana

by Metroland Staff on January 10, 2013

New York rapper Juelz Santana may be most famous for a show he never played. In 2011, he was invited to perform at Chris Brown’s release party for F.A.M.E. but was detained outside the venue and searched for drugs and guns, causing him to miss his set. A long-shelfed collaboration with Lil’ Wayne is another hypothetical feather in the rapper’s cap, but he’s still got plenty to boast. Santana got his start with the Diplomats (Dipset) and is about to release his third solo album, Born to Lose, Built to Win, as well as a pair of digital EPs called God Will’n (volumes 1 and 2).
