Never underestimate the power of a girl and her Flying V. Tickets for Grace Potter and the Nocturnals’ Feb. 6 show at the Egg sold out just about as quickly as they went on sale. And it’s no surprise: The singer has gone from back-home Vermont favorite to Kenny Chesney collaborator in just a few years. Last year’s The Lion the Beast the Beat also featured the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach and Willie Nelson, and the single “Stars” is becoming ubiquitous. Say what you will about the Grammys, but it wouldn’t come as too much a surprise to see Grace triangulating her way onto the big stage one of these days.
