Gwazda, Outer Spaces

by Metroland Staff on March 6, 2013

You’ve probably never heard of Chester Endersby Gwazda, but you’ve probably heard some of the Baltimore bands he’s produced: Future Islands, Dan Deacon, Ed Schrader’s Music Beat . . . You might as well call him the man behind the curtain of Baltimore’s little slice of DIY Oz: the Wham City collective. His solo project is a collaboration between guitar, drums and computer: fractured pop songs that have a beat and that you can dance to. He’s touring with Athens, Ga., one-girl guitar-pop machine Outer Spaces. (March 11, 8 PM, $5, 51 3rd Street, Troy)
