This Way

by The Staff on March 13, 2013

Metroland Best Of winner Abraham Ferraro returns to Troy with a show at the Fulton Street Gallery opening this weekend, This Way. It’s collaboration with . . . the United States Postal Service.

Ferraro creates “structurally engineered sculptures out of reclaimed cardboard” and mails them to the gallery via the USPS.

“I’ve had a great experience using the Post Office to transport this body of work,” Ferraro says in the gallery notes. “Without them this work wouldn’t exist.”

Abraham Ferraro’s This Way opens tomorrow (Friday, March 15) at the Fulton Street Gallery (408 Fulton St., Troy) and runs through April 11. There will be a Troy Night Out artists’ reception on March 29 from 5 to 9 PM. For more info, call 274-8464.
