Devotees of musical theater just can’t get enough of Boublil and Schőnberg’s Les Miserables. You dutifully weep and cheer at community theater productions; you made the recent film version an international box-office smash. That’s why renowned producer Cameron Mackintosh is offering this brand new “25th anniversary” touring production, which opens Tuesday at Proctors, of “Les Miz.” He is promising “glorious new staging and dazzlingly reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo.”
