Spring is here, and, as you can see outside your window, life begins again. That means it’s time for all our furry friends to start the cycle of life all over again. You can share this with your kids at Indian Ladder Farms, as Baby Animal Days begin this weekend.
Your kids can experience the wonder, and severe cuteness, of ducklings, turkey poults, piglets, lambs, baby goats (aka kids), calves and chicks—like the little critter pictured here. They can learn about animal care, and everyone can enjoy the café and farm store. And there’s face painting on the weekends.
Baby Animal Days opens Saturday (May 4) and will continue through May 19 at Indian Ladder Farms (342 Altamont Voorheesville Road, Altamont). Hours are 9 AM to 5 PM daily. Admission is $5 per child; adults are admitted free when accompanying a child. Special events will include a Mother’s Day Brunch on May 12 (reservations required). For more info, call 765-2956.
