A new American circus company from Montreal—Canada?—will complete the current season at the Theatre Institute at Sage. Frequently Asked Questions: A Circus Collective are a group of “young circus professionals” who met in Montreal, which is a hotbed of circus activities, and decided to form a troupe based on their shared passion for both “the traditional and contemporary styles of circus.”

The family-friendly show will feature Capital Region native Aaron Marquise (clown), Lindsay Culbert-Olds and Kia-Melinda Eastman (trapeze duo), Eric Brown (Cyr wheel artist), Patrick Tobin (wire walker), Daniel Sullivan (aerial hoop), Sidney Iking Bateman and Melvin Diggs (acrobats) and Kerttu Pussinen (aerial artist).

Frequently Asked Questions: A Circus Collective will perform tomorrow (Friday, July 12) at noon and 7 PM, and Saturday (July 13) at 1 and 7 PM it the Schacht Fine Arts Center (Russell Sage College, 5 Division St., Troy).
