“The world’s reigning male chorus,” as per The New Yorker, will take on musical dialogues between the sexes tomorrow (Thursday) night at Proctors when Chanticleer present the program She Said/He Said. From godly medieval choral works and bawdy Renaissance madrigals to songs by Cole Porter and Joni Mitchell, this will be a wide-ranging exploration of the topic.
In the 35 years since their founding, San Francisco-based Chanticleer have released nearly 40 albums and racked up their share of awards, including the Grammy. In the process, their appealing vocal blend has pleased audiences around the world.
Chanticleer will sing tonight (Thursday, Oct. 24) at 8 PM on the Mainstage at Proctors (432 State St., Schenectady). Tickets are $20-$50. For more info, call the box office at 346-6204.
