Troy Night Out is Friday night, and the city’s galleries are putting on their best. In addition to ongoing exhibits, 2×2 Collective: double consciousness opens at the Arts Center of the Capital Region; Ed Osborn: Field Elevations opens in the Teaching Gallery at Hudson Valley Community College; and Umbra & Penumbra: Robilee McIntyre opens at the Way Back Gallery.
Here, we turn the focus to Elissa Halloran’s Oddities & Curiosities, which opens at the Art Gallery. A fixture on the Lark Street scene with her creative jewelry, here Halloran will showcase a mix of her “skeleton guys,” with vintage and found object assemblages.
Elissa Halloran’s Oddities & Curiosities show opens Friday (Oct. 25) with a reception from 5 to 9 PM at Art (200 1st St., Troy). The exhibit will remain on view through Jan. 10. For more info, call the gallery at 326-3946.
