Another Era

by Michael Bielawski on December 12, 2013

Capital Region residents crowded Monument Square, surrounding streets and the Troy Atrium on Sunday (Dec. 8) for Troy’s 31st Victorian Stroll. Vendors sold crafts and food, a local ballet school performed, an old-style fire truck gave rides and many people showed off their best Victorian era wear. There were magicians, storytellers, Newfoundland dogs pulling children in wagons, and a Christmas-tree lighting.

The annual event is supported by private and corporate contributions and is organized by the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
