Lo Dough Ho Ho featuring Shaggy

by The Staff on December 12, 2013

Upstate Concert Hall, Friday

Jamaican dancehall star Shaggy may be best known for a song that offered you a way to smooth things over with the lady when she caught you “bangin’ on the bathroom door” with the girl next door: pure denial. “It Wasn’t Me” was the singer’s laid-back return after “Boombastic” put him on the map in 1995. Although this successful single was released more than a decade ago, Mr. Lova Lova still has that same presence in the spotlight—“smooooth.” Recently, he’s teamed up with artists such as Eva and Pitbull, as well as the legendary production team of Sly and Robbie, who are behind his new album, Out of Many One Music. Shaggy will headline the Jamz 96.3 holiday show with Mack Wilds and 2 Pistols. (Dec. 13, 8 PM, $15, 1208 Route 146, Clifton Park, 371-0012)
