On the day after Christmas, chances are that you will be looking for things to do with the kids—outside of the home. How about taking the brood to Family Fun Day at the Palace Theatre this afternoon? The Palace promises “activities sure to delight children of all ages.”

The centerpiece of the fun will be the screening of the original 1979 The Muppet Movie. Follow Kermit the Frog on his journey from the swamp to the silver screen. He sings “The Rainbow Connection,” and tangles with Miss Piggy and a host of celebrities from Steve Martin to Orson Welles.

The Muppet Movie will be screened today (Thursday, Dec. 26) at 3 PM at the Palace Theatre (19 Clinton Ave., Albany). Tickets are $5 adults, $3 kids. For more info, call the box office at 465-3334.
