Charles Ross (pictured) clearly loves fantasy epics, and isn’t afraid of a challenge. The writer-actor who gave the world One Man Star Wars is back with an even more ambitious (and Ewok-free) one-hander: One Man Lord of the Rings.
This Canadian spellbinder will bring to life Frodo, Gollum and an assortment of elves and hobbits on the epic quest to toss that malevolent ring into the volcanic hell-pit from whence it came.
One Man Lord of the Rings opens tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 24) at 7:30 PM in the GE Theatre at Proctors (432 State St., Schenectady). There will be additional performances Saturday (Jan. 25) at 1:30 and 7:30 PM; and Sunday (Jan. 26) at 1:30 and 6:30 PM. Tickets are $25. For more info, call the box office at 346-6204.
