Are you feeling frozen? Shakespeare & Company are ready to thaw you out by offering up some classic English wit with more than a hint of sex in the form of Noël Coward’s Private Lives.
If a former married couple were to meet again at a luxury hotel where each is honeymooning with a new spouse, you’d expect some embarrassment. Not in Noël Coward’s world of upper class hedonists: The ex-couple rekindle their romance right under the noses of their new lovers.
Private Lives opens tomorrow (Friday, Feb. 14) at 7 PM and will run through March 30 at Shakespeare & Company (Elayne P. Bernstein Theatre, 70 Kemble St., Lenox, Mass.). Tickets are $19.50-$54.50. For more info, including shows and times, call the box office at (413) 637-3353.
