Club Helsinki, Friday

Singer-songwriter Holly Williams comes from a long line of musical talent. Her grandfather was country singer-songwriter Hank Williams, and her father is Hank Williams Jr. Although she started her musical career in Nashville, it was in 2003 while touring as a supporting act in Europe that she built a steady fan base. In 2009, she returned to headline shows in Europe as well as the United States after releasing her second album and gaining critical success for its accomplished sound and poignant and personal storytelling. Named one of Country Music Television’s Next Women in Country, Williams is holding her own and simultaneously continuing her family’s legacy. (Feb. 21, 9 PM, $18, 405 Columbia St., Hudson, 828-4800)
