As part of April’s 1st Friday celebration in Albany, the Albany Barn will host a reception for its new exhibit in the Stage 1 gallery space. Entropy is collection of abstract paintings by former Loudonville resident Sarah Holub Schrom.
In her artist’s statement, Schrom writes that, “My artwork is driven from within by some intangible primitive desire. . . . It is pure emotion captured for a fleeting moment in the fibers of an empty canvas.”
Entropy opens Friday (April 4) with a reception from 5 to 9 PM at the Albany Barn, Inc.’s Stage 1 (46-48 N. Swan St., Albany). The show will remain on view through April 30. Admission is free. For more info, call 935-4858.
