Indie rock/alt-country favorite Neko Case is coming to Albany’s Egg this week, still touring on her latest Grammy-nominated album, The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You.
How has it been going? The Seattle Times described her performance as indicative of “a woman at the height of her powers.” The Dallas Morning News raved that her sound was “sonically exceptional and garnered resounding applause throughout the night.”
San Francisco indie rockers the Dodos, who released their fifth album, Carrier, in 2013 and are now celebrating their 10th anniversary, will open.
Neko Case will perform Wednesday (May 7) at 7:30 PM at the Egg (Empire State Plaza, Albany) as part of the American Roots & Branches concert series. Tickets are $35. For more info, call the box office at 473-1845.
