One of the most popular local arts events returns this Saturday when Art on Lark, presented by the Lark Street BID, takes over Lark Street and lures over 20,000 people to downtown Albany.
It’s a wandering-down-the-street kind of festival. You’ll want to take your time and visit many of the 65-plus vendors who will offer wares of all kinds, from photography to jewelry to painting, T-shirts and sculpture, as well as handcrafted goods and a wide variety of tasty things to eat.
The music stage is in the Trinity Church parking lot at Lark and Jay streets. The line-up is, as has been the custom, local: Blue Factory opens (11 AM), followed by Charmboy (12:30 PM), the Quick & the Dead (2 PM), Melli and the Sparks (3:30 PM) and the College Farm (5 PM).
Art on Lark will be held along Lark Street from 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturday (June 7). For more info, visit artonlark.com.
