Little War Twins

by The Staff on June 12, 2014

Red Square, Wednesday

For those apt to bop a little harder than the average indie showgoer, Little War Twins at Red Square will serve as a sanctuary. The group’s website parcels their sound out as “1 lb. Soul (free range), 2 tbsp Punk (raw), 1 oz Rock (organic),” which seems like a fitting recipe for the coed band of five. Named after two mountains in Native American goddess stories, Little War Twins are far younger then their punk-mystic wisdom suggests—they don’t even have a Wiki page yet! Their album Leavers was released this year after their over-170-stop tour in 2013 and they’re back at it again. (June 18, 9 PM, $10, 388 Broadway, Albany, 465-0444)
