The Garlic Lover’s Corner, 235 North Greenbush Road, North Greenbush, 283-1621. Kebabs, stews, Middle Eastern takes on meat and fish and even some pasta dishes are featured in this friendly, out-of-the-way place. Serving lunch Mon-Fri 11-3, dinner Mon-Sat 4:30-9. MC, V.

Daisy Baker’s offers fine-dining lunches and dinners in a large, handsome space (lunch Mon-Fri 11:30-3, dinner Mon-Thu 5-9, Sat-Sun 5-10); Bacchus offers pasta and wood-fired pizza in a belowground retreat (Tue-Thu 11-10, Fri 11-midnight, Sat 4-midnight, Sun 4-10).
