Oscar Winner Comes to Columbia County

Director Ang Lee greets the throng gathered at Chathamís Crandell Theatre on July 29 for the local premiere screening of his film Taking Woodstock, which is about the making of the 1969 music festival that changed the world (a little bit) and the music business (a lot).

The crowd lines up in beautiful downtown Chatham, N.Y., outside the Crandell Theatre for the film Taking Woodstock. The July 29 screening was a benefit for the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and the Chatham Film Club.
