Music of the Great Poets

Albany Pro Musica is opening its concert season with a program that blends the words of great poets like Walt Whitman, Robert Frost, and P.B. Shelley with a dozen composers including Daniel Pinkham and James Mulholland. The evening will feature an amusing Shakespearean set: a Shakespeare poem about snoring, a new “Shakespeare” poem, and a jazz arrangement of a Shakespearean work. The seasoned voices of Albany Pro Musica will be joined by Capital District Youth Chorale for two works.
