Children’s Museum at Saratoga, 69 Caroline St., Saratoga Springs. 10/11, 11 AM-2 PM: Drop-in workshop for children with scissor skills. Participants create Halloween art and crafts. 10/14-15, 1:30-2:30 PM: Children ages 3 to 6 are introduced to cooking in the “Cooking with Katie” class. Pre-registration is required, and participants must be able to attend both classes. 10/15, 10-10:45 AM: Children ages 3 and up are invited to learn about formal art. Pre-registration is required. Every Weekend: Jump in and explore on the weekends with Family Fun Activities, featuring a special activity to make and take home. In the greenhouse, take part in a craft activity all day. Shenendehowa Public Library, 47 Clifton Country Road, Clifton Park. 10/9: Required registration begins for the children’s program, “Clay Picture Crafts for Kids,” in which participants will create two-dimensional scenes from clay. The program is designed for children ages 8 to 12, and will take place on 10/16 from 4:30-5:30 PM. 10/14: Required registration begins for the 10/22 “Spooky Crafts for Kids” program, in which children will create Halloween crafts. 10/13, 1-2:15 PM: Children of all ages, accompanied by an adult, are invited to attend a family movie drop-in program.
