Columbia-Greene
Community College will showcase 20 years of
famous rock & roll photography in a lecture-presentation
by Patrick Harbron titled The Photographs of
Patrick Harbron. He has photographed musical
artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bruce Springsteen
(pictured), Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones,
AC/DC, Chrissie Hynde, Prince, Bon Jovi, Kiss
and Queen.
While working with these artists, Harbron has
shot for magazines, album covers, publicity
shots, portraits and performances. Harbron is
a faculty member at the International Center
for Photography in New York City and the Anderson
Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, Colo. He has
also published three internationally distributed
books of his work.
The Photographs of Patrick Harbron will be held
Saturday (Feb. 19) at 7 PM at the Columbia-Greene
Community College’s Professional Academic Center
(4400 Route 23, Hudson). Admission is $5 and
tickets are available at CGCC, the Chatham Bookstore,
or the Greene County Council on the Arts. For
