Menopause the Musical

The flash is back! Jeanie Linder’s Menopause the Musical is comedy that celebrates women and “the change” in 90 neat minutes. In a department store, four women with seemingly nothing in common (but a black lace bra) meet by chance, and end up poking fun at more than just hot flashes. Menopause features comic songs like “Puff, My God I’m Draggin,” with more than 20 other reworked tunes from the ’60s and ’70s. Since March 2001, Menopause the Musical has entertained audiences and inspired women across the country in more than 150 U.S. cities as well as 12 countries internationally.

This is one for all the red hot mamas.

The performances begin at the Capital Repertory Theatre (111 N. Pearl St., Albany) on Wednesday (July 9) at 7:30 PM and run until Aug. 31. Tickets $41-$46. For a detailed schedule of show dates and times, or to order tickets, call 445-7469.
