Hermie’s

Along with the requisite guitars, basses and drums, there’s woodwind, brass and more. In fact, Hermie’s boasts that it has “any kind of musical instrument you’re looking for.”

Only Guitar Shop
1774 Route 9, Clifton Park, 371-1232. The name says it all, although there are drums, keyboards and recording and PA equipment, lessons and repairs too. A reputation for being low-pressure and generally customer-friendly.

Parkway Music
1602 Route 9, Clifton Park, 383-0300. Specializes in vintage/used equipment and repairs but also offers new equipment, band instruments, a PA selection, lessons and rentals. A fun amp-browsing spot.

Saratoga Guitar
