Jasper Alexander of Hattie’s Restaurant, a Saratoga Springs mainstay, has been honored as one of the country’s top chefs in the inaugural edition of the book Best Chefs America. Those included were recommended by fellow chefs, more than 5,000 of whom participated. “This recognition is truly an honor and gives me yet another reason to be appreciative of my fellow professionals and my chosen profession,” says Alexander. “I’m especially thrilled at the timing as we are celebrating our 75th year in business at Hattie’s.” Hattie’s is also the winner of the Fried Chicken Throwdown with Bobby Flay as seen on the Food Network.
