Throw Vision

by The Staff on July 10, 2013

Red Square, Wednesday

The names Animal Collective, Debussy and Here We Go Magic don’t often appear in a sentence together, but such is the plight of a Brooklyn indie rock band. The quartet Throw Vision have done more than mesmerize critics with their disparate influences, though. Their debut crowd-sourced album, In I, helped them land a gig at NYU in October playing in front of 30,000 live and virtual audience members as house band for the Summit Conference. As they just begin to tour out of the city, this show should be an exciting one, as they seem primed for big things. (July 17, 8 PM, 388 Broadway, Albany, 465-0444)
