The London Souls

by Metroland Staff on September 18, 2013

The London Souls are the sonic love child of early-’60s British rock and progressive funk. Their first album, which is self titled, was cut in Abbey Road Studios. Earlier this year, they dropped their second album, Here Come the Girls. This was never a guarantee; it came after frontman Tash Neal suffered a medically induced coma when his taxicab was struck by a drag-racing BMW in May 2012. The injuries sustained required immediate brain surgery. More than a full year later, the band are no longer a “best-kept secret,” rather an explosion in plain sight.
