The new exhibit at the Carrie Haddad Gallery features three artists influenced by the New York school of abstract impressionism—including one artist, Judith Lindbloom, who was briefly a part of that 1950s scene. The other artists in the show are William Bond Walker and Lionel Gilbert.
Pictured is Lindbloom’s Archaeology of Flying Bison (1986).
Under the Influence (of the New York School) opens Saturday (April 19) and runs through June 1 at the Carrie Haddad Gallery (622 Warren St., Hudson). There will be an opening reception April 26 from 6 to 8 PM. For more info, call the gallery at 828-1915.
